Reminiscing from our time of nursing training, nurse training and the career itself has undergone a myriad of changes with nurses taking on a lot of specialist roles which were once classified under the domain of medical doctors. Deductions from these thoughts stimulated executives of WRAN-U.K. to support NMTC in the delivery of comprehensive nurse training which will ultimately empower its graduates to be fit for purpose. Such graduates, we want to believe, will render a high standard of evidence-based care to their patients through a holistic approach.
Evidently, we cannot continue to indulge in the same old practices and expect remarkable outcomes. Benchmarking, peer review, regular audits, and research of clinical and academic outcomes are some of the initiatives that can be adopted as a measurement of high standards of practice, and WRAN-U.K. is willing to support this institution through formal and informal training to boost the image of our noble profession.
